Who We Are
Objectives
The purpose of the Association is the promotion and development of the common interests of a trade union nature of its members, in terms of development of the private equity investment sector in Venezuela. Its specific objectives will be:
Promote Venezuela as a destination country for private capital investments
To act as a guild organization to represent the interests of the private capital sector in Venezuela and maintain relations with authorities and regulators.
To encourage modern and competitive regulation for the private capital sector, so that the regulatory environment becomes highly attractive to domestic and foreign capital, and that high standards of transparency, corporate governance, compliance with obligations and best practices, among others, are followed in the various sectors of the economy.
To organize the exchange of ideas and information among its members, becoming the forum for discussing relevant topics for the sector.
To encourage the participation of the local and international investment community.
To disseminate and promote the private equity capital sector before other players in the economy, including the financial and business community, the government, and the universities, among others.
To generate statistical information and develop relevant studies of the private capital sector in Venezuela.
To support the professional and educational development of the private capital sector.
To generate a greater number and frequency of private capital transactions.
